Initially some miscommunication over our booking, which the staff on site didn’t have knowledge of. We had booked for a hot tub lodge and this was not allocated. Andy, the manager was excellent and swiftly set about correcting the issue. This is our second visit to The weeping willow so we were familiar with the lodge and the pub. The lodges are very comfortable, particularly the bed, very cosy! Our Christmas stay was what we were both hoping for, comfortable, relaxing and time to switch off. Christmas lunch was delicious, although I was expecting a Yorkshire pudding with my roast beef! but that said we were stuffed and couldn’t even attempt the hamper that was delivered Christmas evening, but a very nice touch. Breakfast was good and the menu offered plenty options. All in all, we had a great stay, this was made possible by the hard working, polite and friendly staff. A big shout out to Andy and his team for creating a very relaxed and friendly environment.

Restaurant trip mid week- the restaurant is super great. Went for a birthday dinner with family, the food portions were very generous for the price. It was all very tasty, presented well, great ingredients. Very impressed and will be coming back- keep it up!

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch, the food was all excellent and the portion sizes were brilliant. The service was the best I have received for a Sunday lunch time. The food all came out very quickly and piping hot. The staff were all very friendly and professional, they made our whole experience fantastic. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good Sunday lunch spot. We will certainly be back.

Had a great stay. Evening food was delicious and breakfast was particularly good - freshly cooked and high quality ingredients. The lodges are lovely - very private, quiet, well decorated and carefully thought out. The dog friendliness here is next level - we got a little bed, two bowls and some treats in our room and the staff seated us in dog-friendly spots in the restaurant when we ate. The dining extension on the building is very impressive. Hot tub was great. Only word of warning would be to bring something to cover up the fire exit lights in the room (which I realise are probably mandatory for H&S reasons so I don’t blame the venue at all) - they light up the whole room and if you need dark to sleep, you won’t sleep at all! Would definitely recommend for food and to stay.

Really beautiful accommodation with gorgous views, unfortunately the bright green exit lights didn't help us sleep at all. It kept my son and I up as they flickered as well. I had arranged before booking for a packed breakfast, I called and spoke to a lady who said it was fine to do so. I was leaving early due to running in a race the next morning. This didn't happen even after asking the night we arrived. My husband stayed for breakfast and said it was incredible. My suggestion would be an alternative to the bright green lights in the room, extra tea bags as only 1 was given per person and rather not to commit to a packed breakfast if this isn't doable. Overall, we will stay again.

We were warmly welcomed by the Duty Supervisor sorry I cannot remember his name. He showed us to a table we had requested which made a very positive 1st impression We were served by Darcy, who although new, was really friendly, polite and chatty We had starters and main course and were too full for dessert The food was lovely We had avoided coming to the Weeping Willow as we thought it was a tad expensive. But we were pleasantly surprised It is a lovely setting and experience and we will be back
